Thomas R. Pollicita Middle School New Classroom Buildings, Phase I, Daly City, California

BSK geotechnical engineers conducted a geotechnical investigation, geologic hazards assessment, and provided geotechnical design recommendations with materials testing and special inspection services during construction to support modernization of the entire campus. This included construction of five new buildings totaling 44,000 square feet. As one of the major projects funded by the School District’s Bond Measure I, the new buildings were planned to address the needs an aging facility and accessibility challenges around the campus.
